  1. Nice :) I like this, reminds me of Mina Harker from league of extraordinary gentlemen (the comic). I think you could have a lot fun with playing with her silhouette by really pushing the effects of Victorian era clothing. That's the kind of direction I'd take it in.

  3. Josephine is her name right?
    Is that her superhero name or her actual name?

    Not too much that is 19th cenuary about that song though.

    Maybe if she had a bit of a plot and a story it might help you REALLY get into her character? I donno.

    I am reminded of Zoro a tad. Why? I don't know.
    Love the idea though.

  5. Sorry for commenting so much,

    I was showing our site to my little sister and she saw this piece of yours Elena and she instantly got really excited and said;
    "Is that Juliet?"
    Now that I look at her she does seem like a really cool take on Juliet.

  6. I like the colours you chose, theyre very realistic and gives it a nice mood.

    just wanted to know, did you use live trace? cuz i found that to get rid of that line quality, the best thing is to do ink traditionally. and live trace goes well with it.

    the only thing i might suggest is to put a bit more highlights on her clothes. youve got white on the background, and i like the contrast between her skin and the clothes cuz it looks like shes glowing, but just maybe a bit on the sword to make it dramatic? otherwise i hearts it very much <3
