At one point this was a pen sketch
This has nothing really to do with any of the challenges <_< ... but given that this'll being going up on my other blog and twitter I thought I'd drop it here to wooooo cross posting ftw. Anywho here's a chick with a gun (about 2hrs in sketchbook)
I can't believe how much I like the hair on this one! It's highlighted so nicely! It really looks like something professional.
Watch out for the hips and legs. I'm not sure if they're longer then they should be or not but something seems off.
The breasts looks like they are getting squished. Which is really cool, but it doesn't look like the bra is squishing them.
I'm certainly no expert on boobs but I think you should have the top half of the boobs gently spilling over the top of the bra here. Or just draw the bra overlapping the boobs on the side instead of a circle.
me likes! the colours are so awesome. i am jealous >__<
dont be afraid to put the subtle little curves that thighs have. i think it adds so much. theyre kinda just smooth elipses here. im not saying u dont have some, but yeah the more subtleties the sexier itll be.
i agree with trav on the legs, i understand what was happening, the left hip is higher, and the right leg is coming around and bending, so the right knee wooould be higher despite the angle of the hips. im not sure what to suggest.
love it though! really! i think the boobs look good. lol i guess u could have made them spill more? haha. im just happy u made sure that boobs are always coming from below the armpit line, even if the tops are up against the chest a bit higher then that. i approoove.
Aw thanks guys - i agree with pretty much all the critiques of this except trav's re the hair, sorry trav I hate the hair (well the highlights that is). I think had I not been lazy and chopped the feet off I think it would have made more sense, and yeah her right boob is flattened... line fail... anywho I have another on similar to her coming soon.
